Aba Metta some kilometers away from Mendefera is an extinct volcanic area with stalactites and stalagmites. The place is used as a holy water, where it oozes from the stalactites, for curing people who have ophthalmic problems. There is also a deep hollow in the area. One would not dare to enter even by the help of sophisticated torches.
