St.Mariam Dearit church, Keren.
The Madonna of the Baobab tree 2.5 kilometers out of the town of Keren is an important place of pilgrimage, as it is believed to have curative and spiritual powers thousands of pilgrims come to the shrine on 29 May each year, when the statue is carried on the shoulders of the pilgrims amid an atmosphere of singing, dancing, and praying. The church inside the Baobab tree has a circumference of 6 meters.
Day 01- Arrivals
Arrive at Asmara International airport and transfer to the Hotel. Overnight in Asmara.
After breakfast visitor enjoys the way to Keren, then join thousands of Eritreans in Dearit Church of St. Mary
A visitor enjoys the city of Keren till noon. After noon the visitor transferred to Asmara and late in the evening transferred to the airport for their bon voyage.
