In the environs of Massawa visitiors will be able to meet theRashaida Community.The Rashaidas are Nomads. They travel along the costs of Massawa to the North until Sudan.
The Rashaidas earn their living mainly by trade. These tribes are believed to have crossed to Eritrea from Yemen and Saudi Arabia some four centuries ago. They still maintain their Arab ancestry.
Day 01- Arrivals
Arrive at Asmara International airport and transfer to Hotel. Overnight in Asmara.
Day 02 – Raishadia group.
After Breakfast a spectacular driving down from Asmara to the East through the Masswa-Nefasit route, from an altitude of 2400 meters to Massawa at zero sea level in about 3 hours. Visitors will experience three climatic changes along the way:-. Cool, moderate and hot climate. A brief coffee break will be essential in Ghinday and Lunch in Massawa. Visitors will visit Massawa town have lunch. Then the visitor enjoys the experience of Rashaida Ethnic group overnight in Massawa.
Day 03 Massawa Asmara
Visitor enjoys the coastal Red sea swimming and be part of the celebration. Latter in the afternoon visitor transferred back to Asmara city. After 2 to 3 hours’ journey visitor reaches Asmara. Late in the evening transfer to airport for their bon voyage.
